SYSTEM DESCRIPTION

This is a 120 tube solar panel system with a 250 litre, Evotherm stainless steel solar cylinder. This system actually featured on TV and can be viewed here. This was a new build and we incorporated the solar heating with the underfloor heating on the ground floor very successfully. The solar panels contribute to the underfloor heating and also heat the domestic hot water needs for washing, bathing etc...

700 litres of hot water for showering at the Castlepalooza music festival, Offaly

SYSTEM DESCRIPTION

This is a 120 tube solar panel system with a 700 litre stainless steel pressurised cylinder. The hot water is fed to shower pods on site to allow campers to shower for free, without the need for fossil fuels. The festival was hosted by Dudley Stewart, brother of architect Duncan Stewart and is becoming one of the main festivals on Irelands’ festival calendar. The showers were a great success and were enjoyed by all campers who bothered to shower before the 2nd day of partying began.
