Alternative energy Ireland (AEI) is an Irish owned and run business and has been operating for over 5 years in the alternative energy market.

Over these years we have gained vast technical knowledge about the best ways to apply solar energy to Irish conditions. Also over this time AEI has built up relations with various manufacturers directly all over the globe. It is because we deal directly with manufacturers that we are able to offer the best priced solar collectors in Ireland, without compromising quality. We also specialise in central heating system upgrades to the highest efficiency on the market today. These are “A” rated boilers along with intelligent control systems. One of our latest products to start installing is heat recovery ventilation from Vent-Axia. We started installing these systems in 2008 and they are proving very popular these days.

All our solar panels are EN12975 certified and all our panels are registered with SEAI, so you can receive grant assistance if you have a system installed on your property in accordance with the Greener homes terms.

Our central heating system are "A" rated and are also grant eligible with SEAI provided you install our intelligent control system also.

Our heat recovery ventilation systems are from Vent-Axia, who are market leaders in ventilation for many decades. The unit we use is the latest “Kinetic” unit which is SAP appendix Q listed for high performance.

We aim to provide an informative, simple website that promotes the industry as well as our own company and provides people just becoming interested in the industry with some advice and answers. We decided to set our prices at the levels they are, because we want to bring solar energy to everybody.
